One of the perks of life at Collingwood Learning, is being a part of The Smashed Project’s travelling roadshow – and the past eight weeks have seen us clocking up the airmiles with a trip to Peru.
James Taylor, our fantastic scriptwriter and director, headed for South America to oversee the delivery of our underage drinking programme’s showcase event with the Ministry of Education and other key stakeholders. He had a great week and managed to take in Lima’s amazing sights too!
Our travels aren’t limited to far-flung destinations either, as rehearsals have been in full swing at our dedicated space in West Yorkshire, as our actors prepare to head out on Smashed’s UK tour too.
Not only that, but ‘Essex Safer Roads Partnership: Dead End’ has also started its five-week tour of the county. Delivered to groups of year 11 students, this hard-hitting live theatre and workshop programme is based upon three intertwining stories of road collisions and aims to educate soon-to-be-drivers about the dangers on our highways.
